  THANK YOU JUDY. after speaking with owner Judy about my 1st and obviously uncharacteristic introduction to her store, I realize I spoke in haste in my earlier review. Judy apologized for my encounter and graciously invited me to return. She assured me that she would emphasize to her staff the importance of every customer, as customary for Judy Frankel Antiques these past 26 years. I look forward to my next visit.

  This is not a come in and browse type of Antique store. This is a sophisticated, limited merchandise, costing hundreds/thousands of dollar items that you would buy for your home through a interior designer. Upon entering, I was treated solely as a lost, misguided uninformed, individual. I was not happy nor impressed.

  Drove all the way from Toronto to go to the Modernism show and visit this shop which had a number of items we were interested in seeing. The store is closed Sundays so we turned up on Saturday only to find a note on the door saying they were closed all day to unpack a crate. This is on the one day when a lot of Art Deco types were in the area to visit the show and may have wanted to see her merchandise. This is not a good way to treat potential customers. We won't return.
